My Name is Steve Steenback from the great garden state of New Jersey. Maplewood,Kearny and Newark to be exact. I started the JRX Foundation after being broke and almost homeless myself after I lost my job of 22 years, well from 2011 to 2015 I had it bad till finally hitting rock bottom in 2015 after my Uncle passed away from his short intense battle with Lung Cancer.
In those 4 years it was hard to find a job, I woked odd jobs here and here while taking care of my uncle. I just had no luck finding a stable job, it was always 1 step forward 5 steps back. But I made a promise to myself that when I get back on my feet again I will help those that are in the shoes I was in.
Then it happened I got a job at Lauderdale BMW in Ft Lauderdale Fl and I hit the ground running, saved my money then started feeding and clothing the local homeless in the area. Then branching out to help the survivors of Hurricane Michael. It was then I decided to do this full time and after getting my 501 C3 the rest is history.
