First and Foremost we are NOT a Homeless shelter, we are on the road 90% we go from state to state. From seeing people on the road to stumbling on tent cities we find purely by accident or word of mouth. Now we also try to help the working poor when we can. Now we just do not hand out money nor do we put people up in Hotel rooms as much as we would like to we just simply can’t. Have we taken a few to shelters? why yes we have.
We also understand that many just want to stay on the street, and some shelters well are not too accommodating for others. And many people on the street need another kind of help well we just cannot provide and they are our seasoned homeless sadly we are not doctors and can only offer hygiene packs, clean clothes, and food.
We try the best we can and well we cannot help everyone but over the past 6 years we have helped some get jobs, helped loved ones looking for a lost family member. Even managed to get a few into an outreach center, so it’s the small victories we encounter.
